A new Bereavement Support Group for our parents / families who have experienced the death of a child is in the process of coming together. The "Cherished Memories" Support Network is in the initial development stages, and if this is something that you are interested in attending, we require your support to make this organization grow.  As our group continues to form itself, work is being done in various areas. The following is an outline of suggestions from members of this group:

• E-Mail Network

• Meet Monthly: 3rd Tuesday of the Month

• Reading Book list ~ Library?

• Newsletter

• Establish a link with Compassionate Freinds?

• Support for Siblings

• Guest Speakers

• A "Walking" group (sometimes walking & talking is easier than just sitting and talking)

• One-on-one peer support group ~ training for the peer helpers?

• "Buddies"  phone chain

• Involvement of Bereavement Consultant
